As the year 2020 wrapped up, the survival game category continued to engage players across Latin America on the Android platform. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a glance at how the top five survival games performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Last Day on Earth: Survival saw a steady increase in both downloads and weekly active users over the quarter. Downloads grew from 49K in the last week of September to 90K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a significant rise from 352K to 433K in the same period. Revenue peaked at $51K in the final week of December.

KEFIR's newer title, Frostborn: Action RPG, which was released in mid-October, showed a strong start with downloads jumping from just over 3K in its first recorded week to a high of 103K in early November. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, reaching a peak of 135K in November, although there was a slight decrease to 86K by the end of December. Revenue showed healthy growth, culminating in $27K in the last week of December.

Identity V experienced a modest but consistent increase in downloads throughout the quarter, with a notable jump to 11K in mid-December. The game also saw an upward trend in weekly active users, starting at 94K and ending the quarter with over 100K. The revenue for the title showed fluctuations, reaching its highest at $26K in early December.

Last Island of Survival had a mixed quarter, with downloads peaking at 39K in late October and then again at 45K in the final week of December. Weekly active users showed significant growth from 28K to 62K over the same period. Revenue saw a peak at $14K in late November.

Finally, ARK: Survival Evolved maintained a steady presence with downloads hovering around the 20K-30K mark throughout the quarter and spiking at 33K in the week leading up to Christmas. Weekly active users saw a considerable increase from 126K at the start of the quarter to over 150K by the end of December. Revenue also saw a slight uptick, ending the quarter at just over $5K.
